This is a beautiful location to visit and there is so much to enjoy in the local area.

Facilities at The Horse Place compromise of a glorious barn, 5 stables, and tack room, with plenty of working space. Shutting the doors make this barn a wonderful dry and still area for working and studying in. There is a 25 x 40m outdoor arena and an 8 acre play field.

There is a small selection of jumps, both show jumping and cross country also play toys. We are very lucky to have fantastic scenery and some great attractions all at hacking distance or a short drive such as:

Hartland is also hacking distance and is ideal for doing weekly jobs such as popping to the post office and doing some food shopping. It is always handy to have some spare change in you pockets to get some snacks for the hack back! www.hartlanddevon.co.uk

Clovelly is a short drive away and is a lovely historic village with cobbled streets and still has donkeys being used. It is one of the ‘must sees’ in the area. It has a range of activities, attractions, shops, pubs, cafe’s and accommodation if you wanted to extend your stay. www.clovelly.co.uk

Also nearby is the seaside town of Bude with beautiful beaches and a nice collection of shops that stays busy all year round.
