Grey was David's horse from 2009, he gave him to Alison as a wedding present in 2016. 

Competition – Grey currently has 61 BD (British Dressage) points and has qualified for regional championships. He is also competing in affiliated eventing, BE80 and BE90 with plans for BE100. Although showing is not our thing Grey won his part bred class at the South West Iberian show and became reserve champion PRE. 

Demonstrations – Grey has been on national demo tours and part of the National Parelli days on 2 occasions at Addington 2015 where he was ridden by Linda Parelli and Aintree 2013 where he was ridden by Pat Parelli. Pat requested Grey at Equitana in Germany in 2013 . He has demonstrated Parelli at national events such as Horse of the year show, locals such as- Holsworthy show, Devon County show and Dorset County Show. He has performed in the South West Iberian Show Gala many times.

Other info – Born in Spain, his dam is a Parelli L4 Horse, his breeder a L4 student. Grey is a pleasure to have around. His 5th time being ridden was in a demonstration. He can be very helpful if a saddle horse is needed to help with young horses. He harrows the arena and drags logs. Grey carried Alison to the church when David and Alison were married in 2015.

JUBILEU AKA MOUSIE


Born 2014 Lusitano, sire - Vitorino

Horseanality LBE, Level 2-3


Mousie is Alison's horse and was given to her by David as a 40th birthday present.


Competition - Mouse has been placed in Iberian showing classes both ridden and in hand, he did a couple of dressage tests at home.


More Info - Jubileu came over from Portugal with his half-brother Joker (same sire) in 2018, David started him but he went intermittently lame and was later diagnosed with a large cyst in his pedal bone. He was successfully operated on in 2019 and after a year off has come back into work well. He has bull fighting lines and is very sensitive and athletic, a real pleasure to play at liberty and to ride. He is Poppie's sire but now gelded.


ELBA ID
Hanoverian x PRE. Sire – Estimado XV (PRE)
Horseanality – LBE/RBE. Level 4

Elba belongs to both Alison and David and has been here since 2012. 

Demonstrations – Elba has taken part in some small local demonstrations and has appeared at the South West Iberian Show twice. 

Competitions - Elba has done a little dressage both affiliated and unaffiliated. She has 31 BD points at Prelim and Novice and has competed in a championship at Hartpury. 

More info – Elba is the sweetest horse to have around, standing around 17hh she always drops her head low when people are around as she loves to have her ears rubbed. She is Grey’s little (younger) sister- they have the same dam, different sire.  She is Poppies dam, although a maiden mare, was a perfect mother. 

PAPOULA AKA POPPY


Born 2019 Lusitano x Hann/PRE daughter of Mousie and Elba. 


Horsenality is hard to say yet, she is confident and friendly, doesn’t move or play as much as some young horses but with parents like hers she will be very sensitive. By looks and feel she is very similar to her mother. Level 2


Poppy belongs to both Alison and David

Competition - Poppy has been shown once, aged 18 months at the South West Iberian Show and won her part bred class while behaving impeccably. 


More Info - a true homebred horse, Poppy at 12 months was already standing around 15hh. She was born on Alison’s Birthday, a special birthday treat. Before she was a year old she went to equine hospital as we discovered a pedal bone injury which was changing her foot balance considerably. The operation was a success, she has recovered well and we hope she will stay well in the future.


We started to play with her a bit more recently, sometimes she is wearing a saddle now in preparation for riding when she is older.

LA LUNA - AKA "BLACKIE"

Born – 2011- A Magdeburger/Menorquino
LBI. Level – 2/3. Blackie is David's horse imported in 2015.  

Demonstrations - Blackie has appeared in some local demos and at the South West Iberian Show twice

More info - a very left brained horse. She is a ridden horse and has lots of experience in harness and has dragged things in the arena.
ATTYRORY EXCHANGE - AKA "YELLOW"
Born – 2001. Passport says Irish sports horse, but must be a Connemara! Dun. Height – 14.3 ¼! Horseanality – LBE/ RBI. Level  4 +. 
Alison’s horse  since 2007. 

Competition – has 199 BD points up to and including Advanced Medium and has qualified for regional championships at Elementary three times, medium once. Although not bred for dressage, he has huge try, it's a lot of fun taking an ‘ordinary’ horse to a good level in dressage.

Demonstrations – has demonstrated Parelli at national events such as Horse of the year show, and locally at Holsworthy show, Devon County and Dorset county show.Has also been a part of National Parelli days at Addington 2015 and Aintree 2013. 

Other info – also very talented at bouncing, sitting and getting people to say ‘he is so cute’! He was bought to sell on but found a place in Alison’s heart as he has so much try and is so clever. Tricky to begin with, very sensitive, claustrophobic and cinchy - every day was a restart for some time! He's grown in self-confidence so much that he's now reliable in most situations. In 2009 he went to Germany and Alison rode him in lessons with Walter Zettl. He has led Hartland Carnival for several years!
 JOKER

Born 2014 Lusitano, sire - Vitorino
Horseanality RBI, Level 3 

Joker is Davids horse, his main job is to help with youngsters and sometimes to harrow the school or a paddock.

Demonstrations - Joker has been a part of some local demonstrations as well as the Horsemanship Showcase in 2019 and the South West Iberian show evening gala in 2020

Competition - Joker has been placed in Iberian showing classes both ridden and in hand.  He also has done a few dressage tests both at home and out.
